It’s not enough to change farming practices. The Australian cotton industry believes these changes must result in meaningful positive impacts for the natural environment, our farm businesses and our communities. That’s why we measure changes over time across the whole industry.

The Australian cotton industry is developing a set industry-wide, bold sustainability targets to continue to strive for better.  It conducts full industry-wide environmental audits every decade and regularly reports on progress to stakeholders via Sustainability Reports.  Australian cotton also has an overarching Sustainability Strategy - PLANET. PEOPLE. PADDOCK, overseen by a cross-industry Sustainability Working Group to ensure we're listening to stakeholders, capturing issues of importance and responding with real action.
