Cotton Australia has announced the finalists for the 2025 Bayer Cotton Grower of the Year and AgriRisk High Achiever of the Year Awards - recognising the exceptional growers whose dedication helps supply the premium, sustainable cotton that many Australian and global brands proudly use in their products.
From Dalby in Queensland to Spring Ridge in New South Wales, this year’s finalists represent the dedication and innovation that defines Australian cotton farming. Nominated by their local Cotton Grower Associations and peers, these growers are recognised for their leadership in key areas - innovation, sustainability, water efficiencies, nutrition and soil health, and commitment to their communities.
Cotton Australia CEO Adam Kay noted that all five nominees are family-operated farms highlighting the real people, families and communities behind Australian cotton products.
“This year the nominees represent a range of cotton growers with one producing only his third cotton crop while another family has been growing cotton for more than 30 years and are now 5th generation farmers.”
Whether new to cotton or multi-generational growers, this year’s nominees demonstrate farming practices that align closely with what consumers and brands increasingly value - respect for the natural environment, innovation and community leadership.
